They are: Playwrights, Novelists, Filmmakers, Businesswomen, Photographers, Stand Up Comedians, Soap Opera Writers, Yoga Instructors, Bloggers, Professors, Real Estate Agents, NYC Public School Principals and Daughters.

Zora Neale Hurston takes us on a tour through the history of some notable African American Women who were able to achieve greatness in the face of adversity: Sojourner Truth, Stagecoach Mary Fields, Aretha Franklin, Dr. Mae Jemison, and Oprah Winfrey describe their groundbreaking journeys.
