Teresa Stephenson has been an Artistic Associate of Project Y Theatre Company since its New York launch in the Spring of 2009. She previously collaborated with Project Y through the New Orleans Theatre Experiment (N.O.T.E.) co-production of Therese Raquin Desire, written and directed by Michole Biancosino. Teresa played the title role and is a co-founder of N.O.T.E.
Acting experience includes: Race Music with Diverse City Theatre Company at Theater Row; Caitlin and the Swann with The Management at Theatre Under St. Mark’s; Y-E-L-L, Up With (Some) People, and The Punch at the Ensemble Studio Theater: Youngblood; June Moon at the Dorset Theater Festival; The Tempest, As You Like It, and Machinal at the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey; Comedy of Errors with Mile Square Theater Company; Baby Boom and Therese Raquin Desire with N.O.T.E. at the New Orleans Fringe Festival; Trash Bag Tourist with N.O.T.E at the New Orleans Fine Arts Center; and W/M and The Trouble with Barney with The LOST Company at Urban Stages. She earned her BA from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, and her MFA in Acting from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts, New Brunswick, NJ.
