Michole Biancosino is a co-founding Artistic Director of Project Y Theatre Company, where she directed David Rabe’s In the Boom Boom Room, Judith Thompson’s The Crackwalker, Lion in the Streets, and White Biting Dog, One Flea Spare by Naomi Wallace, Zastrozzi by George Walker, in Washington, D.C., and the world premiers of Either/Or by Dan O’Brien and Therese Raquin Desire in New York City. As a founder of the New Orleans Theatre Experiment, she produced and directed Trashbag Tourist by Samuel Brett Williams at the Fine Arts Center, NOLA and Baby Boom by Lia Romeo N.O. Fringe. She has also produced or directed new play readings for Crossroads Theatre, Milesquare Theatre, Woolly Mammoth, Luna Stage, and the Kennedy Center New Play Festival. Michole is a SDCF Gielgud Fellowship recipient. She holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.F.A. in Directing from Rutgers University.
