Posted by MB - November 7, 2013
Our 2013 Feminine Mystique: 50 Years Later Reading Series is having its final reading in an evening featuring the work of 7 feminist writers. “Fun, Festive, and Feminist” is the billing for this evening of short plays, prose, poetry, and monologues which take on some of themes of FM50 - what does it means to be a contemporary woman in today’s society? As we look back on our history, what has changed and what has not? Are we making progress? Project Y has commissioned 8 writers to weigh in with their own musings on women’s lives and the society we share.
